Catching all your zzz's
We are busy people. We are often going non-stop from the time we get up until the time that we have to go bed. Our days are filled with stress, activity, and often requirements of others. We don’t always have time to our self to take a break and decompress. However, self-care and taking the time to unwind before bed each night is essential to getting a good night’s sleep. If you think about it, during the day our mind is like “go, go go” and then we crawl into bed we just expect it to stop and fall asleep instantly. Unfortunately, that is not how it works.

Give your mind and body about 30 minutes to an hour to unwind each night. I know it might seem like your days are packed full of things to do and you don’t have any time to focus on your needs but by not focusing on self-care you are doing yourself and others who rely on you a disservice.
