Maximizing your gym time
Have you ever used the tried and true excuse of “I just don’t have time today” in order to avoid going to the gym, attending our favorite fitness class, or being active outside with friends? You're not along, we are all guilty of it on more than one occasion. In fact, TIME it is the number one reason people use for not engaging in physical activity. Trust me I get it, we all have different obligations and priorities that make it feel like it is sometimes difficult to fit everything in to just 24 hours a day. However, I want you to read this old quote and think about what it means to you: “Those who think they have not time for bodily exercise will sooner or later have to find time for illness”.
Being active is a vital component to minimizing illness, reducing stress, and overall improving your quality of life. So the next time you start to tell yourself, “I just don’t have time to be active today”, I hope you will remember that quote and maybe take a new approach to your time.
